IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2024
To be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam 2024, the candidate needs to meet these three requirements:
IBPS Clerk Nationality / Citizenship
A candidate must fit into one of the following criteria to be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam:
- Be an Indian citizen.
- Be a citizen of Nepal.
- Be a citizen of Bhutan.
- Be a Tibetan Refugee who arrived in India before January 1st, 1962, with plans to live here permanently.
- Be a person of Indian origin who moved to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of settling down here for good.
IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification 2024
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should possess a certificate as proof of passing the qualifying examination.
The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
IBPS Clerk Age Limit
For the IBPS Clerk Exam 2024, the candidate’s age should be between 20 to 28 years. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004.

IBPS Clerk Application Form 2024
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has not yet published the IBPS Clerk recruitment 2024 notification through any of their public resources for the candidates to start making the application. The form filling for IBPS Clerk 2024 will be available for the candidates to make an application when the commission publishes the IBPS Clerk official notification and invites the application from candidates.
How to Apply Online for IBPS Clerk 2024?
- Log in to the official website of the IBPS @ Click Here.
- On the homepage of the official website, click on the link “CLICK HERE TO APPLY FOR CRP-Clerks (CRP-Clerks-XI)” in order to open the online application form.
- On the newly opened tab on the screen, click on the ” New Registration”, the tab for making the new registration.
- A new tab will open on your screen where you have to provide basic details. Enter the details including your email id and mobile number for further communications.
- You must upload a clear copy of your photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm), signature, and left thumb impression while filling the form as per the standards set by the commission.
- Before Making the payment through the online payment gateway make sure to upload the following declaration in your own handwriting in the English language, and it should not be in all capital letters. Follow the statement as it is.
“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the
application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.” - You must pay the required application fees to accept your candidature through the online payment gateway. Candidates have the option of making the payment of intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets, etc through online methods.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2024
The IBPS Clerk exam occurs in two stages: Prelims and Mains. Both these papers follow the online method of conducting the written examination. The structure of the exam is as follow:
IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2024
The preliminary exam of IBPS Clerk CWE is an online exam testing a candidate on the basis of their aptitude, intellect, and English. There are three sections in total and the candidate must clear the cut-off of each section to proceed to the mains exam round.
Candidates are required to solve the question paper in the time frame of 20 minutes for each section. The composite mark of the paper is 100 and the passing marks are decided by IBPS that is likely to change every year depending on the level of difficulty of the exam.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2024
No changes have been observed in the Exam Pattern of IBPS Clerk 2024 Exam. IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now constitute 190 questions that need to be completed in a time frame of 160 minutes.
Previously, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Section used to be conducted separately. But, in the recent update by IBPS, both these sections are amalgamated together and will constitute 50 questions that need to be solved in a time duration of 45 minutes. Both Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam will be conducted bilingually, i.e. both in English and in Hindi. Let’s have a look at the Exam Pattern for IBPS Clerk CWE X.

There is a penalty for wrong answers marked in both preliminary examination as well as mains examination. A wrong answer to an objective question will lead to a penalty of one-fourth of the total mark assigned to that question. There will be no penalty for the question left blank or unanswered.
Penalty for Wrong Answers
There will be a penalty for incorrect responses marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank.
Score Calculation for IBPS Clerk Exam
The accurate scores received by each of the competitors in different sessions will be normalized using the equi-percentile method. Scores up to two decimal points shall be considered for the total calculations
IBPS Clerk Cut-off Score (Online Main examination)
Each applicant will be expected to achieve a minimum score in each test of the Online Main Examination and also a minimum complete score to be considered for more processes. Depending on the number of State/ UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be considered for temporary allotment. Before the completion of the provisional allotment process scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates.

- Ex-Servicemen category should submit Proforma B from the Competent Authority showing his/her date of completion of a specific period of engagement (SPE) along with the declaration in Proforma C.
- Candidates serving in Government / quasi govt offices/ Public Sector Undertakings (including Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions) are required to produce a “No Objection Certificate”
- Persons eligible for age relaxation should bring the relevant documents related to it.
- Any other relevant documents in support of eligibility.

IBPS Clerk Call Letter 2024
The eligible candidates who have applied for the post can download the call letter from the official website and carry it for the exam. The candidates are advised to download it from the IBPS official website. Similarly, the call letter for the scribe, if any should be also taken separately.
The call letter should be brought for the preliminary exam as well as for the mains exam. The call letter for the examination is usually published by the commission about 10 days before the examination date. It is published through the official website and the candidates who are appearing for the examination can download the admit card from the official website by following the below-mentioned steps.
- To download the IBPS Clerk Prelims admit card or IBPS clerk mains admit card, visit the IBPS official website @ibps.in
- On the home page, enter your Registration No / Roll No and Password / DOB (DD-MM-YY) and the given captcha.
- You can find your Registration Number and password in the registered email inbox.
- While clicking on the Login button, the admit card will be opened in a new tab.
- Download the admit card in PDF format for your future use.
- The download window will be available till the last date decided by the IBPS.
IBPS Clerk Cut-Off 2024
For the IBPS Clerk examination, the candidates have to clear specific cutoff marks to qualify for the subsequent stages of recruitment. The cut-off mark required for the examination is determined by the recruitment commission after the completion of the examination. For the year 2024, the commission has not yet published any details regarding the required cut-off marks since the exam notification is yet to be published.

IBPS Clerk Mains Result 2024
All the aspirants may download the result from the official web portal of IBPS at the earliest, before the closure of the examination result in the web portal. Here are some simple steps that the candidates have to follow in order to download the result:
- Firstly, go to the official web portal of the Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) @ibps.in
- Now, select the notification that is titled ‘Click Here to view your result of Online Mains Examination for CRP-Clerks-X’.
- Next, on the new screen that opens, enter your Registration Number/ Roll Number and Password/DOB to log in.
- Lastly, click on the login button and download the result.
IBPS Clerk Provisional Allotment 2024
The total marks allocated for Online Main Examination are 200. Marks will be converted out of 100 for Provisional allotment. An applicant should pass the Online Main Examination and be adequately high in the merit to be recognized for following the provisional allotment method.
IBPS Clerk Pre-Examination Training 2024
As per the current pandemic situation, the IBPS has decided not to conduct the PET. But as per the changes, the limited candidate with certain measures can join it, All qualified applicants who opt for and want to avail of Pre-Examination Training should fill in the appropriate column in the ON-LINE APPLICATION. While education will be imparted free of cost, all other charges regarding traveling, boarding, lodging, etc. will have to be borne by the applicant for attending the per-examination training program at the designated Centers.

- The candidates are obliged to apply for the post only after checking the eligibility criteria
- Once eligible and applied for the post, the candidates have to take the printout of the call letter for both exams.
- The scribe should not be another candidate allotted for the same exam.
- The candidates are obliged to bring an extra photo of identification
- Valid call letter, a photocopy of photo-identity proof should be produced
- The candidates have to submit the authentic and worthy documents
- One application and no change of information is supported
- If candidates have produced any error or false information, the IBPS has the right to expel them from the recruitment procedure and even the exam.
- Any malpractice or variation in the handwriting or any document will be punishable and result in expelling
