It is constituted by two different examinations &#8211; JEE Main and the JEE Advanced. It serves as a Common Entrance Test for a total of 24 Indian Institute of Technology campuses, 32 National Institute of Technology campuses, 18 Indian Institute of Information Technology campuses and 19 other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). is an entrance examination in India for students who wish to study undergraduate medical courses (MBBS) and dental courses (BDS) in government or private medical and dental colleges in India.<\/p>\n<p>The undergraduate NEET (UG), for MBBS and BDS courses, is currently conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET-UG is a single entrance test for admissions to more than 66,000 MBBS and BDS seats across India.<\/p>\n<p>After the enactment of NMC Act 2019 in September 2019, NEET-UG became common all India entrance test for admissions to medical colleges in India including the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education &amp; Research (JIPMER).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility: <\/strong>Applicant must attain 17 years of age by 31st December 2020. There is no upper age limit for the exam as per an interim order of the Supreme Court. However, the candidature of aspirants more than 25 years of age is subject to the Supreme Courts\u2019 orders.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who have completed or appearing in Class 12th with minimum 5 subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology or with science subjects are eligible for the exam. Candidates of distance learning or private students and those who have studied Biology as an additional subject are also eligible for the NEET 2020. NEET 2020 demands a candidate should score a minimum of 50% for General category, 45% for General-EWS, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC\/ST\/PWD. Candidates in the 12thlevel must have secured minimum 50% marks for General &amp; General-EWS categories; 45% marks for PH &amp; 40% marks for SC\/ST\/OBC category candidates in PCB group.
