This scheme aims to reduce child mortality due to pneumonia and to mobilise people to protect children from pneumonia, and train health personnel and other stakeholders to provide prioritised treatment to control the disease.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Surakshit Matritva Aashwasan (SUMAN)<\/strong><br \/>\nSUMAN has launched to provide quality healthcare at zero cost to pregnant women, new mothers and newborns. Under the SUMAN scheme, the beneficiaries visiting public health facilities are entitled to at least four antenatal check-ups, at least one checkup under Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan, Iron Folic Acid<br \/>\nsupplementation, Tetanus Diptheria injection.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 2.0<\/strong><br \/>\nThe government launched the &#8216;Intensified Mission Indradhanush 2.0&#8217; with special attention on improving coverage in areas with &#8220;low&#8221; immunisation. Through IMI 2.0 focus will be given on urban, tribal, and underserved population.\u00a0 IMI 2.0 will include four rounds of vaccination, which will cover the vaccines for measles, tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough, Hepatitis B, tuberculosis (Tb), meningitis and poliomyelitis.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Food Safety Mitra (FSM) scheme<\/strong><br \/>\nFood Safety Mitra (FSM) scheme is to strengthening and scaling up \u2018Eat Right India\u2019 movement. Through this scheme, the government aims to support small and medium-scale food businesses to comply with food safety laws.<\/li>\n<li><strong>National Digital Health Blueprint<\/strong><br \/>\nThe government released National Digital Health Blueprint which aims to create National Digital Health Eco- System. Under the PM-KISAN an amount of Rs.6000\/- per year is transferred in three 4-monthly instalments of Rs.2000\/- directly into the accounts of the farmers, subject to certain exclusion criteria relating to the higher-income status.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Participatory Guarantee Scheme (PGS)<\/strong><br \/>\nPGS is a process of certifying organic products, which ensures that their production takes place under laid-down quality standards. It has been launched as a part of Ayushman Bharat. It will be jointly run by the Health and Human Resources Development ministries. This initiative is linked with other government initiatives such as the Eat Right campaign, Fit India movement and Poshan Abhiyaan for the overall development of children\u2019s health.<\/li>\n<li><strong>NISHTHA\u2013 National Initiative for School Heads and Teachers Holistic Advancement<\/strong><br \/>\nIt is the world\u2019s largest teachers\u2019 training programme of its kind in the world.\u00a0 The NISHTHA has been launched to improve Learning Outcomes at the Elementary level and to motivate and equip teachers to encourage and foster critical thinking in students.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Programme- &#8216;DHRUV&#8217;<\/strong><br \/>\nIt is a 14-day learning programme, was launched recently from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Under this scheme every student to be called &#8216;DHRUV TARA&#8217;. It will select 60 students, 30 each from Science and Performing Arts discipline, for this ambitious programme in the first batch. &#8220;DHRUV&#8221; programme kickstart with a tour at ISRO followed by a stay in Delhi, where the selected<br \/>\nstudents will be mentored by renowned experts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>National Educational Alliance for Technology (NEAT) Scheme<\/strong><br \/>\nThis Scheme aims to use better technology for better learning outcomes in Higher Education.
