Candidates with Diploma in Engineering Streams will get selected towards the NTPC Diploma Trainee positions across different NTPC stations in the country. The diploma trainees will be recruited at the W6 level. They will undergo the training for two years at NTPC sites and will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 24000 per month as stipend. On successful completion of the training, they will get promoted to the W7 pay level with basic pay of Rs. 24000.
