Human Resource Development (MHRD) and Government of India (GOI). The exam will be conducted in offline mode and the test is only an entry-level examination conducting in the year of 2024 for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH (Ayurveda), Veterinary courses and other Paramedical Undergraduate courses in approved\/recognized Medical\/Dental &amp; other Colleges\/ Institutes in India. This article shares the details of NEET 2024 eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Aspirants planning to appear for medical entrance tests should know every detail of the NTA NEET 2024 eligibility criteria. Aspirants failing to fulfil any of the eligibility for NEET will not be allowed to appear for the entrance test. The minimum age of 17 years as of December 31 of the year of admission is mandatory for NEET aspirants. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology\/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects. Earlier, the age criteria for General and reserved category candidates was 25 years and 30 years respectively. This eligibility criteria factor was included in the NEET 2022 exam and will be maintained for NEET 2024 age limit as well.<\/p>\n<p>Over 20 lakh candidates registered for the NEET 2023 exam and the removal of the NEET exam age limit was one of the factors for this high number of applicants. This was the highest in the past five years. The remaining 85 per cent of seats will be filled via DU NEET counselling. Candidates who have passed Class 11 and Class 12 from an institute located in Delhi will be able to apply for these 85 per cent seats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia:\u00a0<\/strong>The institute offers 50 BDS seats, out of which 47 seats will be filled through the MCC NEET counselling. The remaining three seats fall under the institutional quota and will be allotted to only those candidates who have passed Class 11 and Class 12 from JMI.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aligarh Muslim University (AMU):\u00a0<\/strong>The institute reserves 50 per cent of its seats for candidates who have studied at\u00a0AMU\u00a0for the past three years. Only such candidates will be able to apply for the institutional quota seats of AMU. The remaining 50 per cent will be filled through the MCC counselling of NEET.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Banaras Hindu University (BHU):\u00a0<\/strong>All candidates who fulfil the basic eligibility criteria for\u00a0NEET MCC counselling\u00a0can apply for the seats at\u00a0BHU.
