Eligible and Interested candidates can apply for NABARD SIS Recruitment from<strong>\u00a009 February to 05 March 2021<\/strong> on official website \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nabard.org\/\">nabard.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of the Scheme is to assign short term tasks\/projects\/studies useful and relevant to NABARD, to talented students pursuing post-graduate degree in Agriculture and allied disciplines. The scheme is expected to provide valuable feedback with a fresh perspective through studies\/projects undertaken by the students on themes of interest to NABARD.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"NABARD_Student_Internship_Scheme_Eligibility_Criteria\"><\/span>NABARD Student Internship Scheme Eligibility Criteria<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Students pursuing post-graduate degree (having completed first year) in Agriculture and allied disciplines (Veterinary, Fisheries, etc.), Agri-business, Economics, Social Sciences and Management from Institutes\/ Universities of repute or Students pursuing 5 years integrated courses including Law and in 4th year of their course and Indian Students studying abroad are eligible for SIS 2021-22.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Total_Seats_for_NABARD_SIS_2021-22\"><\/span>Total Seats for NABARD SIS 2021-22<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Total number of seats for NABARD Student Internship Scheme (SIS) 2021-22 is 75 (65 seats for Regional Offices\/TEs &amp; 10 seats for Head Office).<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"NABARD_Student_Internship_Scheme_SIS_2021-22_Important_Dates\"><\/span>NABARD Student Internship Scheme (SIS) 2021-22 Important Dates<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Opening of link for registration and submission of applications \u2013 <strong>February 09, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last Date for Submitting Online Application\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0 <strong>05 March 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Financial_Support_from_NABARD\"><\/span>Financial Support from NABARD<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The students selected for the internship will be offered the following financial benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stipend\/ month{Minimum 8 weeks (2 Months) to maximum 12 weeks (3 months} : 18000 per month<\/li>\n<li>Field visit allowance (including of all expenditure)-maximum for 30 days :2000 per day (For 8 NER States) and 1500 per day (Excluding 8 NER States)<\/li>\n<li>Travel allowance (For onward &amp; return journey from HQ to District\/Local HQ and back to HQ) by AC-III Class (AC-II may be permitted where ticket in AC-III is not available) on submission of tickets\/other documentary proofs) : 6000 per head (maximum)<\/li>\n<li>In addition, miscellaneous expenses on declaration basis 2000 per head.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Broad_ThemesAreas_for_NABARD_Student_Internship_Scheme_SIS_2021-22\"><\/span>Broad Themes\/Areas for NABARD Student Internship Scheme (SIS) 2021-22<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The broad objective of SIS 2021-22 is documentation of success stories of NABARD\u2019s<br \/>\nprojects\/programmes\/schemes\/activities at the field level. The areas of NABARD\u2019s<br \/>\nactivities identified for the Scheme are as under:<\/p>\n<p>1. Rural Haats<br \/>\n2. Rural Mart<br \/>\n3. Homestays (Rural Tourism)<br \/>\n4. Skill Development Programmes<br \/>\n5. Micro ATMs &amp; Financial Literary Programmes<br \/>\n6. KWF Projects- Climate Change Projects<br \/>\n7. Advanced Technologies on web-based monitoring of watershed management projects<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the study projects to be carried out by SIS interns may cover NABARD\u2019s intervention\/supports under the following funds \/ schemes\/programmes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Projects supported under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), LongTerm-Irrigation Fund (LTRF), Warehouse Infrastructure Fund, Food Processing Fund, NABARD Infrastructure Development Assistance (NIDA), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Direct Refinance Assistance to cooperative Banks, Credit Facility Federations, Producer Organisations including PACS as MSC (Loan + grant), Dairy Processing and Infrastructure Development Fund, Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin, Production and Marketing Credit and conversion loans for production credit, Green Climate Fund, CBS, Computerization of Rural Banks, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Development Initiatives undertaken under Watershed Projects, Spring-shed Watershed Development Programmes, TDF projects, SHGs training &amp; digitization, capacity buildings, skill development programmes such as LEDP, MEDP and others, UPNRM projects, Off-Farm Development projects and supports and any other areas of NABARD\u2019s reach.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Moreover, the study sample may cover mix units \/ respondents (with and without NABARD\u2019s supports\/interventions) to make a comparative assessment and qualitative input\/feedback.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Implementation_of_NABARD_Student_Internship_Scheme_SIS_2021-22\"><\/span>Implementation of NABARD Student Internship Scheme (SIS) 2021-22<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The entire process of the Scheme will be done through SIS web portal.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The scheme will be implemented for 8-12 weeks between 01 April 2021 to 31 August 2021.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The Head Office\/Regional Offices\/Training Establishments provide wise allocation of 75 seats.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0On selection of the students, HO\/RO\/TE may assign &#8216;one topic to each student&#8217; as identified. And may advise the student to commence the study as early as possible.<\/li>\n<li>The selected students would undergo one-week orientation programme covering brief introduction on NABARD\u2019s operations, methodology, collection of raw data, data analysis and interpretation, presentation of draft report.<\/li>\n<li>A suitable officer from HO\/ROs\/TEs may be designated as a Mentor to oversee the implementation and monitoring of the scheme.
