UPSC and MPPSC are two recruitment agencies in India. The Union Public Service Commission is the country’s premier recruiting agency for appointments to and examinations for Group A & Group B posts under civil services cadre and defence services cadre of the central government. On the other hand the Madya Pradesh Public Service Commission, MPPSC is a state government-led agency of Madhya Pradesh state for conducting civil services examinations and competitive examination. Difference Between MPPSC and UPSC<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Both recruitment agencies, MPPSC and UPSC hire the best candidates for their services through two stages of written tests and personal interview. While the required education qualification for both recruitments is graduation in any stream, the age limit and the number of attempts scenarios varies for these two recruitment bodies. While one can appear for the MPPSC PCS till he\/ she reaches the upper age limit criteria, the UPSC has a different call on this.<\/p>\n

For UPSC CSE, candidates of the general category get six\u00a0attempts\u00a0till the age of 32 years, while those in the OBC category get nine\u00a0attempts\u00a0till the age of 35 years, and unlimited\u00a0attempts till 37 years of age if they belong to SC\/ST category. While the upper age limit criteria for the UPSC is 32 years (for the general category), the aspirants of MPSC has a little longer stretch. They can apply for the non-uniformed posts till they reach 40 years old, and for the uninformed positions, the upper age limit stands at 32 years.<\/p>\n

UPSC CSE<\/h3>\n

The\u00a0 Union Public Service Commission (UPSC<\/a>) conducts the Civil Services Examination to recruit candidates for the Indian Bureaucratic system. Through the UPSC CSE test, candidates are selected for various Civil Services of the Government of India, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and the Indian Police Service (IPS). The screening process has two stages of written examination followed by a personal interview. In the second stage of written examination (Main examination) essay paper is a compulsory and merit counting paper.<\/p>\n

Before the final selection, there will be a personal interview for the successful candidates from the Main examination. The maximum marks allotted for the personal interview is 275. So the total marks for the merit are 2075.<\/p>\n
