Formed in 1928, registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, BCCI falls under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Wankhede <a href=\"https:\/\/entri.app\/blog\/important-stadiums-in-india\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stadium<\/a> in Mumbai, acts as its headquarters. BCCI is a group of cricket associations of each State. The Chief of BCCI is elected by the representatives chosen by these State Associations. The thirty affiliates of the BCCI casts one vote each during the Annual General Meeting of the BCCI to elect the President.
