Periodically, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) conducts open recruitment across the state to find suitable candidates for the post of Lecturers in Government Degree Colleges in Andra Pradesh Collegiate Education Service. The last Degree Lecturer recruitment notification was published in 2018, for a total of 308 vacant posts on the scale of pay of Rs.15,600 \u2013 39100 with Rs. 6000\/- AGP from candidates within the age group of 18 – 42 years. For the selection process, the commission conducts a written test followed by a personal interview. The written test will have two sets of papers, one with General Studies and mental ability questions and the other to check the aspirant’s knowledge in the particular subjects.
