As per the official guidelines, the CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT\u201fs of Chandigarh, Dadra &amp; Nagar Haveli, Daman &amp; Diu and Andaman &amp; Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi. This exam is conducted twice a year to appoint eligible candidates as teachers for classes 1 to 8. The CTET exam involves two papers &#8211; paper 1 and paper 2. CTET paper 1 is for teachers of classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 is for classes 6 to 8. The candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1- 8 are required to clear both papers.<\/p>\n<p>CTET 2021 paper 2 , which was supposed to be conducted on December 16 and 17 got postponed due to server issue and was conducted on December 20. The paper was conducted in the afternoon session (2.30 PM to 5 PM). This was the first time the exam was conducted in computer based format.\u00a0 The candidates did not face any technical glitches during the exam. CTET paper comprises of four sections:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Language I and II<\/li>\n<li>Child development and Pedagogy<\/li>\n<li>Mathematics<\/li>\n<li>Science \/ Social studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The paper consisted of 150 questions for a total of 150 marks. The subject specific section consists of 60 questions and all the other sections have 30 questions each. There will be no negative marking.
