Candidates should make sure that they are physically fit to undergo all the tests of AFSB. The AFSB selection process has 2 stages.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stage_1\"><\/span><b>Stage 1\u00a0<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stage 1 is basically a screening test for the candidates. Any candidate failing to meet the requirements will be eliminated on the first day. The stage consists of <strong>Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test<\/strong> and <strong>Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT).\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The OIR test involves solving two booklets of about 40 questions in 17 min of time. In the PPD Test, the candidate will be given a picture and 4 min to write a story on it. The candidate will have to narrate the story after the given time. The candidate clearing\u00a0 the stage tests will undergo document verification and check.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stage_2\"><\/span><b>Stage 2\u00a0<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stage 2 involves <strong>Psychological test, Group Test<\/strong> and <strong>Interview.<\/strong> The Psychological test involves further tests which are :<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) &#8211; candidates are shown puzzling pictures and asked to thread a story.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Word Association Test (WAT) &#8211; candidates are given a word asked to frame a sentence out of it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Situation Reaction Test (SRT) &#8211; candidates reaction for a given real life situation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Self Description Test (SD) &#8211; candidate is given appropriate time to write 5 paragraphs about them and their loved ones.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Group tests are basically activities which are conducted indoor or outdoor which involve both mental and physical output.
