The CISF invites applications from eligible departmental candidates for filling up 647 vacancies. The selection will be made through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/entri.sng.link\/Bcofz\/0x3b\/ow4f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download the entri app now!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"SSC_CISF_ASI_Vacancy\"><\/span><strong>SSC CISF ASI Vacancy<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The CISF has notified that they will be currently recruiting to fill 647 vacancies. The vacancies are reserved as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unreserved Category (UR)- 502<\/li>\n<li>Scheduled Caste (SC)- 97<\/li>\n<li>Scheduled Tribe (ST)- 48<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are no reservations for the OBC category, these candidates can apply through the general category.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"SSC_CISF_ASI_Selection_Process\"><\/span><strong>SSC CISF ASI Selection Process<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>All the candidates who have been shortlisted from the applications obtained by the CISF will have to go through all the process set by the selection authority. If a candidate remains absent from any of the stages of selection, he \/ she will be disqualified. The candidates will be allowed only three chances to compete in the LDCE.<\/p>\n<p>The selection process of Assistant Sub Inspector is a five stage process. It involves the following:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"i8Z77e\">\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">Checking of service records.<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">Written examination.<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">Physical Standard Test.<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">Physical Efficiency Test.<\/li>\n<li class=\"TrT0Xe\">Detailed Medical Examination.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Stage I &#8211; Record Checking<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The stage I of recruitment process involves checking of the candidate&#8217;s records. Even though there are no marks allotted for this, candidates must score a &#8216;Good&#8217; or above for the past 5 years. A &#8216;Good&#8217; is equivalent to 4 marks. The candidates should also have unblemished service record till the date of joining the post of ASI \/ Exe if appointed.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Stage II &#8211; Written Exam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The second stage of the recruitment process for ASI is the written exam. The written exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). The test will have OMR based question paper. It will be a 200 marks paper with objective type questions. The duration of the paper will be three and half hours.<\/p>\n<p>The topics and mark distribution for each topic will be as shown in the table:<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">Topic<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">Mark Distribution<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">General Intelligence and Reasoning<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">50 marks<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">General Awareness and Professional Knowledge<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">50marks<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">Numerical Ability<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">50 marks<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">Comprehension and Communication Skill<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">50 marks<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">Total marks<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">200 marks<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>To be considered for the next stage, the candidate should secure at least 45% marks in each part and 50% marks (i.e. 100 marks) in aggregate. Candidates belonging to SC\/ ST categories will be given a relaxation of 5% i.e. they will have to score a minimum of 35% in each part and 45% marks (i.e. 90 marks) in aggregate.<\/p>\n<p>The dates for this years exam is yet to be announced. Stay tuned to <a href=\"https:\/\/entri.sng.link\/Bcofz\/0x3b\/ow4f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Entri<\/a> to get the exam dates as soon as it is announced.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Stage III &#8211; Physical Standard Test<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The third stage in the recruitment of ASI is the physical standard test. The CISF has laid down certain physical standards which candidates should possess to be considered eligible for the post of ASI. Those who do not satisfy these standards will be disqualified. This test does not carry any mark. It has to be noted that candidates who have been appointed to the lower ranks on compassionate grounds after availing relaxations mentioned below are not eligible to appear in Limited Department Competitive Exams (LDCE).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/entri.app\/blog\/cisf-asi-recruitment-notification\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to get the physical standards laid by CISF<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Stage IV &#8211; Physical Efficiency Test<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The\u00a0 fourth stage of the selection process is Physical Efficiency Test which is of qualifying nature i.e. those who do not make through this stage will be disqualified. The Physical Efficiency Test will consist of five events. The events and qualifying conditions will be different for male and female candidates.<\/p>\n<p>Let us have a look at the different events involved in the Physical Efficiency Test.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">Male Candidates<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">Female Candidates<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">1.6 km race in 6 minutes and 30 seconds<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">800 m race in 4 minutes<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">100 m race in 16 seconds<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">100 m race in 18 seconds<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">High Jump \u2013 3.9 feet in 3 chances<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">High Jump \u2013 3 feet in 3 chances<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">Long Jump \u2013 12 feet in 3 chances<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">Long Jump \u2013 9 feet in 3 chances<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"301\">Shot Put (16 lbs) \u2013 14.8 feet in 3 chances<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h3><strong>Stage V &#8211; Detailed Medical Examination<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>During the fifth stage of the selection process, candidates will have to undergo detailed medical examination. The medical test will be conducted as per the instructions and guidelines issued by MHA. At the end of the test, candidates will be declared either &#8216;Fit&#8217; or &#8216;Unfit&#8217;. The review medical examination of unfit candidates will also be conducted as per the instructions and guidelines issued by MHA.<\/p>\n<p>According to the standards set by MHA, the candidates visual standards should be as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visual Activity unaided (Near Vision) &#8211; Better eye: N6, Worse eye: N9<\/li>\n<li>Uncorrected Visual Activity (Distant Vision) &#8211; Better eye: 6\/6, Worse eye: 6\/9<\/li>\n<li>Refraction &#8211; Visual correction of any kind is not permitted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apart from these, the candidates should not have knock knee, squint eyes, flat foot or varicose vein.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"SSC_CISF_ASI_Final_Recruitment\"><\/span><strong>SSC CISF ASI Final Recruitment<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The final selection of candidates will be purely based on merit depending on the number of vacancies and being declared &#8216;Fit&#8217; in the medical examination. An extra 10% of candidates who have qualified in the written exam and Physical Efficiency Test will be called in for the medical test.
