The objective type examination will be an OMR based one held in offline mode. Candidates will be short listed to the mains CBT Examination in the ratio as may be decided by the Commission.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"APPSC_Junior_Assistant_Eligibility_Criteria\"><\/span><strong>APPSC Junior Assistant Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>APPSC will shortlist or consider only those applications in which the candidates satisfy the eligibility criteria put forward by the Commission for the Junior Assistant post. Candidates should therefore have a detailed look at all the criteria before applying for the post. State Government Employees<\/td>\n<td width=\"301\">Shall be allowed to deduct from his age the<\/p>\n<p>length of regular Service under State<\/p>\n<p>Government up to a maximum of five<\/p>\n<p>years for the purposes of the maximum<\/p>\n<p>age limit.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"APPSC_Junior_Assistant_Selection_Procedure\"><\/span><strong>APPSC Junior Assistant Selection Procedure\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Main Examination will be an objective type one and questions are to be answered on computer system. The candidate can choose the medium of exam (English \/Telugu). Applicants can familiarize themselves with the exam format by attempting the general Mock Test facility on the Commission\u2019s website. The selection to this recruitment notification will be based on the merit in the Main<br \/>\nExamination.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"APPSC_Junior_Assistant_Application_Fee\"><\/span><strong>APPSC Junior Assistant Application Fee<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>All applicants must pay an application fee of Rs. 250 as application processing fee and Rs 80 as examination fee. Candidates belonging to the following categories are exempted from payment of<br \/>\nexamination fee only:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SC, ST, BC, PH &amp; Ex-Service Men.<\/li>\n<li>Families having household supply white card issued by Civil Supplies Department, A.P.<br \/>\nGovernment. (Residents of Andhra Pradesh)<\/li>\n<li>Un-employed youth as per G.O.Ms.No.439, G.A (Ser- A) Dept<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These exemptions are applicable to only those belonging to Andhra Pradesh.<\/p>\n<p>Application fee should be paid online using payment gateway using net banking\/ credit card \/ debit card.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Apply_for_the_APPSC_Junior_Assistant_Post\"><\/span><strong>How to Apply for the APPSC Junior Assistant Post<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Candidates can follow the steps given below to submit their online applications.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First time candidates should register his\/her bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission\u2019s official website &#8216;https:\/\/psc.ap.gov.in&#8217;. While filling the OTPR, candidates have to ensure that the particulars are filled correctly. Once the applicant registers his\/her particulars, a user ID is generated and sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates who have already registered should login to the Commission\u2019s website, with their registered OTPR number.<\/li>\n<li>The applicant should then click on the \u201cOnline Application Submission\u201d present in the bottom right corner of the Commission\u2019s website.<\/li>\n<li>The applicant should then do the payment by clicking on the payment link against the notification number that he wants to apply.<\/li>\n<li>Check whether all the data filled is correct and submit the payment form.<\/li>\n<li>On successful submission, the payment reference ID will be generated and displayed on the screen. Click \u201cOK\u201d and the applicant will be shown various payment options.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the payment process as given on the screen.<\/li>\n<li>Once the payment is successful, a payment reference ID will be generated. Candidates should note the payment reference ID for future correspondence.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants will then be directed to the application form. Here the applicant should provide the payment reference Id and other details required for filling the application form.<\/li>\n<li>Once the application is submitted successfully, an application receipt is generated.
