The new exam pattern issued talks about the phase 1 main exam and a phase 2 skill test. Skill tests have both dictation tests as well as computer-based transcription tests. Both phase 1 and phase 2 are equally important for the final rank list and later for the appointment. Both the Computer Test and the Stenography Test for such aspirants will be of qualifying nature and marks gained will not be considered for the merit list.<\/p>\n<p>The Qualifying Benchmarks in Phase \u2013II Stenography Skill Test will be determined at the prudence of ESIC.<\/p>\n<p>If the test is conducted in more than one shift, the marks across various shifts will be equated to compensate for minor differences in the difficulty level of different test batteries used across shifts.
