Candidates will have to meet the requirements as per the eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority &#8211; the RBI. The two posts for which the RBI conducts exams are: i) RBI Assistant ii) RBI Grade B Officer<\/p>\n<p>For both the posts, the eligibility criteria are different. Candidates need to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the RBI Assistant examination. The following article provides details on the age limit, nationality, educational qualifications, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/entri.sng.link\/Bcofz\/od54\/6blp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Download Entri App!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"RBI_Assistant_Eligibility_Criteria\"><\/span>RBI Assistant: Eligibility Criteria<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To meet the RBI Assistant eligibility criteria requirements, a candidate must fulfill the below:<\/p>\n<p>i) Age Limit<\/p>\n<p>ii) Educational Qualification<\/p>\n<p>iii) Local\/Official state language Proficiency<\/p>\n<p>To know more about the exam dates, the number of vacancies, and exam centers, refer to the official website of RBI:<\/p>\n<p>The following details cover each requirement for the eligibility criterion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Age Limit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates must be of the age between 20 and 28 years (as of 1\/12\/2019) for applying for the post of RBI Assistant 2022 examination. Hence, candidates born before December 2, 1991, and after December 1, 1999, will not be able to apply for the exam. Candidates belonging to specific categories will be given upper age relaxation. The upper age relaxation is mentioned below for candidates of certain categories.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"308\"><strong>Category<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"308\"><strong>Upper Age Limit<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"308\">SC\/ST<\/td>\n<td width=\"308\">33 years (Relaxation &#8211; 5 years)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"308\">OBC<\/td>\n<td width=\"308\">31 years (Relaxation &#8211; 3 years)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"308\">Persons with Disabilities<\/td>\n<td width=\"308\">38 years (relaxation &#8211; 10 years for Gen\/EWS)<\/p>\n<p>41 years (relaxation &#8211; 13 years for OBC)<\/p>\n<p>43 years (relaxation &#8211; 15 years for SC\/ST)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"308\">Widows\/divorced women\/ women judicially separated (who are not re-married)<\/td>\n<td width=\"308\">38 years (Relaxation &#8211; 10 years)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"308\">Ex-Servicemen<\/td>\n<td width=\"308\">Till the service extent rendered by them in Armed Forces with an additional period of 3 years subject to a maximum of 50 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"308\">Candidates with work experience in Reserve Bank of India<\/td>\n<td width=\"308\">Experience to an extent of the number of years, subject to a maximum of 3 years<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"308\">Candidates domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir (during the period from 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989)<\/td>\n<td width=\"308\">33 years (Relaxation &#8211; 5 years)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>At the time of the interview, candidates must present their caste certificate for verification.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates applying for the RBI Assistant Exam must possess the below educational qualification (as of 1\/12\/2019):<\/p>\n<p>i) Candidates with a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. The number of attempts and Nationality are the two other important criteria.
