The Board of Governors of the varsity authorized\u00a0the recommendations put forward by the Academic Council and the Syndicate in this regard.<\/p>\n<p>Presently, 10 regional clusters are offering over 100 varied\u00a0MTech Courses. The cluster-level graduate committees, governed\u00a0by the lead college in each cluster, are responsible for the\u00a0syllabus formulation, examination, and evaluation of courses in the respective clusters.<\/p>\n<p>From the academic year 2022-2023, the Board of Governors has planned\u00a0to create a unified system of conducting MTech courses, eliminating the current cluster structure and placing MTech courses from the direct control\u00a0of the university.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/entri.sng.link\/Bcofz\/od54\/6blp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prepare for GATE exams! Download Entri App!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All related\u00a0colleges of the university will have a single framework for MTech programmes. Only the first two semesters of the two-year course will be classroom\u00a0basses. Industry-related internships, MOOC courses, and projects will be the focus of the second year.<\/p>\n<p>After two semesters, students will choose from two course\u00a0for continuing their second year. Those who choose the first course\u00a0will receive a regular MTech degree, while those who opt for the second course\u00a0can pursue higher education, research, and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<p>The second track is only open to students\u00a0who received an 8.5 cumulative grade in the first semester and a Gate score. They are also needed\u00a0to publish a journal in the third semester. The 123 MTech courses will be branched into 75 groups. Each group will have its core and elective topics along with\u00a0the main topics relevant to each MTech course.<\/p>\n<p>Of a total of 68 credits, individuals\u00a0are required to acquire 18 credits each in the first two semesters and 16 each for the last two. They\u00a0can enroll in the third semester only if they earned a\u00a0minimum of 12 credits in the first semester.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3JlkKgg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grab Study Materials for GATE !!! The syllabus will include \u00a0industry visits, experiential studies, project-based practical studies, studies based on data published in international journals, mini-projects, compulsory industry-related internships and industry-related elective topics. Skill development training will also be made mandatory to flourish in areas such as operations research, business analytics, industrial safety,engineering project cost management, and intellectual property.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"MTech_Course_Set_for_a_Major_Overhaul_Change_in_Evaluation\"><\/span><strong><b>MTech Course Set for a Major Overhaul<\/b><\/strong><strong><b>: Change in <\/b><\/strong><strong><b>Evaluation<\/b><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Evaluation will depend on three criteria &#8211; practicality, analytics, and design. In addition to the exams held at the end of the semesters, the evaluation method will be employed to assess the individual performance of each student.<\/p>\n<p>University exams\u00a0will be held for core subjects that require classroom study. University exams account for only 15 credits out of 36 in the first 2 semesters. 40 out of 100 marks in the core subject can be\u00a0scored via internal assessment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3JlkKgg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grab Study Materials for GATE!!! Register Now!!!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Of the 40 marks, \u00a0the mini\u00a0project\u00a0will carry 20, 10 for any of the tasks, seminar, and oral exam, and 10 marks will be for the\u00a0college-level examination. The remaining 60 marks will be awarded in the university exam of 150 minutes.
