The CLAT merit list will be prepared based on the total marks scored by candidates in the exam. This means that a student scoring higher marks will be given a higher rank in the merit list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The merit list will include information like All India Ranks (AIRs), roll numbers, and total marks. All candidates whose names have appeared in the merit list are eligible to participate in CLAT 2022 counseling for seat allotment procedure at the National Law Universities (NLUs).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"CLAT_Counselling_2022\"><\/span><strong>CLAT Counselling 2022<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>CLAT rank list will be used for inviting candidates for the\u00a0counselling and seat allotment process which is the last stage of the admission process. After the declaration of CLAT exam results, candidates have to register themselves on the Consortium\u2019s website and\u00a0pay the counselling fee\u00a0and block the seat. Candidates will be allotted seats based on their preference, rank and scores. Moreover, candidates also have to fill in their preference order for NLUs (minimum 5 preferences have to be filled). As per the press release dated November 11, 2021, the Counselling fee has been further reduced. Earlier the Counselling fee wasRs. 50000.
