Generic drugs are sold under their scientific names \u2013 less or not familiar by common people. In UK, the generic prescription rate is 82%.<\/li>\n<li>The thought that generic drugs are produced in lesser-quality facilities or are inferior in quality to brand-name drugs also lessen their acceptance by the people.
