Yearly, candidates will be paid Rs 4.76 lakh in first year which will go upto Rs 6.92 lakh in fourth year.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/img.jagranjosh.com\/images\/2022\/June\/2862022\/indian-navy-agnipath-payscale.jpeg\" alt=\"Indian Navy Agniveer Salary PayScale\" width=\"485\" height=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Seva Nidhi Package<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Around Rs 11.71 lakh (tax-free) will be given a one-time Seva Nidhi package to Agniveers that will include their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Allowances<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In addition, risk and hardship, dress, and travel allowances will be paid.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Life Insurance Cover<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Rs 48 lakhs will be given non-contributory life insurance cover to Agniveers for the duration of their engagement period as Agniveers in the Indian Armed Forces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3MWTnuS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grab Latest Indian Navy Study Materials! Register Here!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Compensation for Death<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Agniveers will not be governed by provisions contained in the Pension Regulations\/ Rules for respective services (as amended from time to time).<\/p>\n<p>In case of death, the following will be admissible to the Next of Kin (NOK) from the Agniveer Corpus Fund:<\/p>\n<p>(i) Insurance Cover as applicable<\/p>\n<p>(ii) All other compensation as tabulated below<\/p>\n<p><strong>Categorization of Death <\/strong>The death for the purpose of provision of financial benefits to Agniveers will be categorised as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>(a) Category X:<\/strong>\u00a0Death due to natural causes neither attributable to nor aggravated by military service during the engagement period.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(b) Category Y:<\/strong>\u00a0Death due to causes which are accepted as attributable to or aggravated by military service or due to accident \/ mishaps in the performance of duties including training during the engagement period.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(c) Category Z:<\/strong>\u00a0During the engagement period, death due to acts of violence\/ attack by terrorists, anti-social elements, enemy, during border skirmishes \/ war \/ peacekeeping operation \/ aid to civil power etc; and during operational preparation and training for war including battle inoculation training \/ exercises and accidental deaths due to natural calamities \/ operations specially notified by the Govt. etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/entri.sng.link\/Bcofz\/od54\/6blp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prepare for Indian Navy Exams!
