Serving Railway employees who are Law Graduates are also eligible to apply for these posts, provided they have served for at least 5 years in any Branch of the Railway Administration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior Translator:<\/strong> Master&#8217;s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level; OR Master&#8217;s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or<br \/>\nEnglish medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level; OR Master&#8217;s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subjects of either of the two as medium of examination and other as a compulsory or elective subject at Degree level.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants should also have a recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice &#8211; versa or 2 years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government offices, including Government of India Undertaking.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Staff Nurse:<\/strong> Certificate as Registered Nurse and Midwife having passed 3 years course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a school of Nursing or other institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (OR) B. Sc (Nursing).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Age Limit<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Candidates should be minimum 18 years of age. The upper age limit will be 42 years for General candidates (UR), 47 years for SC\/ ST candidates and 45 years for OBC candidates. Also make sure that you have all the required documents.<\/li>\n<li>Visit the website of WCR &#8211; www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in.<\/li>\n<li>In the homepage follow the path &#8211; About us-&gt;Recruitment-&gt;Railway Recruitment Cell-&gt;GDCE Notification No. 02\/2022.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u201cGDCE Notification No: 02\/2022\u201d link.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u201cNew Registration\u201d link.<\/li>\n<li>Fill in employee number (11 digit) and date of birth and click continue.<\/li>\n<li>Fill in the personal information and e-mail address and mobile number. On submission of required details an e-mail\/ SMS will be received in the registered e-mail ID\/ mobile number. Note down the registration number and password.<\/li>\n<li>Then login using this registration number and password.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the registration process by filling in the required information.<\/li>\n<li>Upload the scanned copy of photograph, self-attested certificates in proof of date of birth, education\/ technical qualifications and caste certificate (if applicable).<\/li>\n<li>Submit the application.<\/li>\n<li>After confirming the declaration and submission of the application, the candidate may save the file as \u201cPDF\u201d and take print of the application and preserve it for future reference and record.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Documents Required<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Proof of Date of Birth<\/li>\n<li>Certificates of Educational Qualification for the post applied<\/li>\n<li>Caste Certificate (if applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Scanned copy in JPEG format of passport size color photograph.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"RRC_WCR_Selection_Process\"><\/span><strong>RRC WCR Selection Process<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The selection process will involve single Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) and Skill Test\/ Translation Test (where ever applicable) and Document Verification\/ Medical Examination. The CBT shall have questions and answer options only in English and Hindi. There shall be a negative marking of 1\/3 mark for every incorrect answer.<\/p>\n<p>The pattern of Computer Based Test varies depending on the post.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For JE category posts<\/strong>, the exam will consist of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes for all candidates except PwBD candidates who will be given 120 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Technician category posts<\/strong>, the exam will consist of two parts i.e. Part A and Part B. Part A will consist of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks and the duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. Part B will consist of 75 questions to be completed in a duration of 60 minutes. The marks scored in Part A alone shall be used for short listing of candidates for further stages of recruitment process subject to the condition that the candidate is securing qualifying mark in Part B.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Miscellaneous category posts<\/strong>, the exam will consist of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes for all candidates except PwBD candidates who will be given 120 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates applying for the post of Junior Translator shall be called for the translation test. Candidates ten times the number of vacancies will be called for this test based on the merit of the objective type CBT. The Translation Test shall be only a qualifying test and the qualifying pass marks shall be 60%.
