Feature and non-feature films certified by the Central Board of Film Certification between January 1 and December 31, 2022, competed for the prestigious awards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Malayalam movie <\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Aattam<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, directed by Anand Ekarshi, bagged the award for Best Feature Film in the 70th edition of the National Film Awards. The Best Director award went to Sooraj Barjatya for his film <\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Uunchai<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Rishabh Shetty secured the Best Actor award with his mesmerising performance in the movie <\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Kantara, <\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">which he directed.
