The currency market actually had a pretty good week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Friday the Rupee had a big jump &#8211; up 85 paise in a single day and closing out the week at 84.94 per US dollar &#8211; compared to Thursday&#8217;s close of 85.79. And over the last three weeks, the Rupee has now recovered about 2% from its record low of 86.96. We think that is largely down to the fact that investor sentiment is improving and we&#8217;re getting some pretty good looking capital flows coming in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A stronger Rupee is pretty good news for a lot of people &#8211; especially importers and foreign investors. It&#8217;s one of the things that keeps money from overseas investors from coming into India in the first place, because it&#8217;s a risk that they don&#8217;t want to take on.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sectoral_Performance_IT_Under_Pressure\"><\/span><b>Sectoral Performance: IT Under Pressure<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most sectoral indices ended in the red.
