On the bright side &#8211; <\/span><b>India&#8217;s foreign exchange reserves just hit a new high<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and that&#8217;s a pretty good thing &#8211; it just shows that the underlying economy is still in good shape<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But it was pretty much a forgone conclusion that the sell off was going to keep going and by the end of the week the <\/span><b>S&amp;P BSE Sensex had lost 4,354.98 points (\u22125.52%) and was at 74,563.92<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; while the <\/span><b>Nifty 50 was down 1,299.35 points (\u22125.31%) and at 23,151.10<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
