If you&#8217;re already registered, log in to your profile with your User ID and password.<\/li>\n<li>Find the post and click &#8220;Apply Now&#8221; in the notification link for Category No. 156\/2026.<\/li>\n<li>Check your profile details carefully before you submit.<\/li>\n<li>Submit the application and keep a printout or soft copy. You can print it from the &#8220;My Applications&#8221; link in your profile.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Key rules from the notification<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> Only SC\/ST candidates of Kerala State can apply. Applications from other candidates will be rejected, and no individual notice of rejection will be sent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fee:<\/strong> No application fee.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Age:<\/strong> 18\u201345 years, for candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included). No other age relaxation applies. If there are no qualified candidates within the limit, the upper age limit can be relaxed up to 50 years, and never beyond 50.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Qualification:<\/strong> S.S.L.C. or equivalent, plus a Diploma in Civil Engineering, a K.G.T.E\/M.G.T.E Group Certificate, or one of the other qualifications listed in the notification.<\/li>\n<li><strong>One profile only.<\/strong> Creating multiple profiles can lead to forfeiture of your candidature.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Photograph:<\/strong> New profiles must upload a photograph taken within the last six months, with the candidate&#8217;s name and the date of the photograph printed legibly at the bottom. A photograph that meets the specifications is valid for 10 years from the date it was taken.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aadhaar:<\/strong> If you have an Aadhaar card, add it as ID proof in your profile.<\/li>\n<li><strong>No changes after submission.<\/strong> An application is accepted provisionally, and it can&#8217;t be deleted or altered once it&#8217;s submitted. Check everything before you click submit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Stage 2: Scrutiny of Applications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Applications are processed after the last date. An application is accepted only provisionally at the time of submission, and it can be rejected at any stage if it doesn&#8217;t comply with the notification.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Common reasons for rejection include:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Applying without being SC\/ST<\/li>\n<li>Not meeting the age limit or qualification<\/li>\n<li>Multiple profiles<\/li>\n<li>Incorrect or false claims in the profile<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Original documents to prove qualification, age, community and other claims are asked for later, and you should keep them ready.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Stage 3: Confirmation to Write the Exam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If a written, OMR or online test is held as part of the selection, candidates must submit a confirmation through their One Time Registration profile that they will appear for it.<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Only candidates who confirm can generate and download the admission ticket.<\/li>\n<li>The application of a candidate who doesn&#8217;t confirm within the stipulated period will be rejected.<\/li>\n<li>The period for confirmation will be published in the examination programme. The pattern above is from the published syllabus page, so please check the exam programme for the final details.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Stage 5: Answer Key and Objections<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">After an OMR test, Kerala PSC publishes a provisional answer key. In previous OMR examinations, complaints about the answer key had to be submitted online through the candidate&#8217;s OTR profile within a short window of 5 days from the date the provisional key was published. Keep an eye on the dates published for this exam.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Stage 6: Probability List and Document Verification<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">After the OMR test, the Commission prepares a probability list: a list of register numbers of candidates who are provisionally eligible to be included in the ranked list, subject to verification of original documents. In the last cycle for this post (Category No. 682\/2023), the OMR test was held on 07-01-2025, and the probability list was issued on 26\/06\/2025. The candidates included in it were to attend verification of their original documents. The arrangement of register numbers in the list does not show rank.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>What to expect<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>You may receive a message in your profile asking you to upload documents that prove your qualification and other claims. Upload them within the stipulated time.
