But there is one small step that can end your attempt before it begins: Kerala PSC exam confirmation.

Every year, thousands of aspirants miss their exam because they forgot to confirm, confirmed late, or confirmed the wrong post. Kerala PSC does not usually reopen the window for latecomers, so this step is non-negotiable.

This guide explains Kerala PSC exam confirmation, its importance, the January 2027 confirmation dates, why confirmation is mandatory, step-by-step submission instructions, and more.

What Is Kerala PSC Exam Confirmation?

Kerala PSC exam confirmation is an online declaration in which you tell the Commission that you will attend the examination for a post you have applied for.

Applying for a post is not enough. For posts that have a written, OMR or online test, Kerala PSC asks every applicant to confirm separately through their One Time Registration (Thulasi) profile within a fixed window.

Think of it as a two-step process:

Apply for the post through your profile.

Confirm your willingness to appear when the confirmation window opens.

Why Is Exam Confirmation Mandatory for Kerala PSC Exams?

Kerala PSC receives lakhs of applications for popular posts like LDC, LGS, Civil Excise Officer and Police Constable. Many applicants never actually appear. Confirmation helps the Commission:

Estimate the real number of candidates

Plan exam centres, seating and staff

Reduce the cost and waste of printing and logistics for absent candidates

For you, the rules are strict:

No confirmation, no hall ticket. Your admission ticket is generated only if you confirmed.

No hall ticket, no exam. You cannot enter the hall without it.

Unconfirmed applications are rejected by the Commission.

Late confirmation is generally not accepted.

When Does the Confirmation Window Open?

There is no single date for all exams. Each notification has its own confirmation period, usually around three weeks long, and it is announced:

In the exam schedule published on keralapsc.gov.in

Through SMS and profile notifications to applicants

In the PSC Bulletin and newspapers

The hall ticket is typically released a few weeks after the confirmation window closes, so the dates follow a clear order: confirmation, then hall ticket, then exam.

Do not wait for the last day. Websites slow down near deadlines, and a single server error can cost you your attempt.

Kerala PSC January 2027 Exam Confirmation Date

The confirmation dates below are taken from the Kerala PSC January 2027 Examination Programme PDF.
