Kerala Public Service Commission invites application for the post of Staff Nurse from qualified candidates to fill 17 vacancies in the Department of Insurance Medical Services. The vacancies district wise are in the following order :<\/p>\n[ninja_tables id=”2683″]\n
Age Limit:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>\nThe lower and upper age limit for General candidates is 18 and 44 respectively. ie Candidates born between 2.1.1974 and 1.1.2000 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply for this post. Candidates belonging to OBC and SC\/ST categories can avail their usual age relaxation. However, the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.<\/p>\n
Qualification:<\/strong><\/h5>\nA candidate to be qualified for applying to the post of Staff Nurse Gr II shall possess the following qualification.<\/p>\n
1. Pass in S.S.L.C or its equivalent.<\/p>\n
2.Not less than 3 years of successful training in General Sick Nursing.<\/p>\n
3. a)\u00a0 In the case of women candidates not less than nine months of successful training in Midwifery from an institution recognized by the State Government.<\/p>\n
b) In the case of male candidates successful completion of a short-term course in one or the other of the Nursing subjects of Venerology, Urology, Psychiatry or Ophthalmology conducted in a major Hospital.<\/p>\n
4. Male candidates shall possess the Certificate of Registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwifery Council as Nurse\u00a0and female candidates shall possess the same as Nurses and Midwives.<\/p>\n
Candidates who are differently able are NOT eligible to apply for this post.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\nApplication Procedure:<\/strong><\/h5>\nCandidates shall apply online through the One Time Registration with the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission. (www.keralapsc.gov.in) .\u00a0Candidates should submit applications for the post to any one of the above districts and should note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. Applications to more than one district should not be submitted in response to this notification. No fee is required for applying to this post. In the case of excess applications from eligible candidates, the Kerala Public Service Commission may conduct a Written OMR\/ Online test as part of the selection process. In that case,\u00a0Admission Ticket for eligible candidates will be made available in their Profile. The test will be for 100 marks, consisting of 100 questions to be answered in 75 minutes. Those who qualify in the objective test shall be included in the ranked list.<\/p>\n
