The<a href=\"https:\/\/entri.app\/blog\/ibps-so-notification\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> IBPS SO Official notification<\/a> is released. Interested candidates make no further delay to apply for the job. The IBPS SO Selection Process 2025 will be held under three stages namely &#8211; Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview.<\/p>\n<p>The candidates who clear the Preliminary examination will be called for the Mains exam. Once the candidate successfully clears the Mains, they shall be called for the final stage i.e. Interview. Interested candidates can go through this article to find details on IBPS SO Selection Process.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"IBPS_SO_2025_Selection_Process\"><\/span><b>IBPS SO 2025 Selection Process<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>IBPS SO selection procedure takes place in\u00a0the following\u00a0three\u00a0stages. The Preliminary exam will be conducted by IBPS, which will be followed by the Mains Exam.\u00a0The final stage shall be the Interview.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>IBPS SO Preliminary Exam &#8211; <\/strong>The Preliminary Examination is the first stage of the IBPS SO Recruitment process. The examination is of 125 marks. The candidate needs to clear an overall cut off to get into the next level i.e. main exam.<\/li>\n<li><strong>IBPS SO Mains Exam &#8211; <\/strong>The Mains Examination is the second stage of the IBPS SO Recruitment process. The Mains exams will be conducted separately for each branch as there will be subject related questions. The Mains examination is of 60 marks.<\/li>\n<li><strong>IBPS SO Interview<\/strong> &#8211; The final stage in the selection procedure is the Interview. The candidate can reach this stage only after clearing both Prelims and Mains examination. The candidates will be interviewed by designated Public Sector Bank Officers. The total marks allotted for the Interview are 100. The candidate should score minimum qualifying marks in the interview. Therefore, the candidates cannot score less than 40% (35% for SC\/ST\/OBC\/PWD candidates). The ratio of Online Exams and interviews will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates will arrive on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination and Interview. If the candidate does not score minimum qualifying marks, then he\/she will be barred from the interview. Then the candidates will be called for an interview. The Interview of IBPS SO 2025 will be conducted by the participating organizations of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and will be coordinated by the nodal banks in each State or Union territory, with the assistance of IBPS.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who will successfully clear the IBPS SO prelims and mains examination will be called for the interview round based on the marks obtained by them.
