permanently settling in India or<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For candidates other than citizen of India and falling under the rest of the categories mentioned above has to present a certificate of eligibility by the Government of India.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Proficiency_in_Language_Criteria\"><\/span><b>Proficiency in Language Criteria\u00a0<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"
