The function of the Prelims is to serve as a screening test. The vacancies are earmarked discipline wise and so the merit list is also prepared similarly.<\/p>\n<p>If selected for the Mains, you will need to write two papers. One is for aspirants of all posts and the other is for a specific post. The first paper is a paper on General English and primarily exists to gauge your language skills. It is a descriptive paper. One of the papers\u2019 is for a general post and the paper will center around Economic, Social Issues, Agriculture and a large emphasis on rural India. The Prelim Exam syllabus is the same as the NABARD Grade A syllabus. The Mains however has 3 papers. The first paper is General English and is descriptive in nature. The second paper revolves around Economic and Social Issues while also having parts in reference to agriculture with an emphasis on rural India. The third paper places emphasis on Economics, Statistics, Finance and Management.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, there is the Interview process.
