It is our IB department who decides the level of security to be given for a particular person by analyzing the threat perception level.\u00a0 As we all know , high category security is provided to the President, the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, leading politicians, senior bureaucrats, former bureaucrats, Supreme court judges, high court judge, former judges, businessmen, film stars, at some times even common person if they are facing any life threats. These four security categories are also known by the name of SPGs or Special Protection Group<\/span><b>. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have some of the agencies responsible for providing different categories of securities to VIPs like\u00a0<\/span><b>SPG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0(Special Protection Group),<\/span><b>\u00a0NSG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0(National Security Guards),\u00a0<\/span><b>ITBP<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0(Indo-Tibetan Border Police) and\u00a0<\/span><b>CRPF<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0(Central Reserve Police Force) etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=me.entri.entrime&amp;referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3Dgeneralknowledge%26utm_term%3DIMG%26utm_campaign%3Ddivya\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8643 size-full\" title=\"KAS Notification\" src=\"https:\/\/entri.app\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/bank_and_govt_exam-banner-1.png\" alt=\"keralapsc mocktest banner 2019\" width=\"970\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Z+ CATEGORY SECURITY<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is considered to be the highest category of security in India.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Z+ category of security offers a security cover of 55 personnel, including 10+ NSG Commandos &amp; Police officers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All commandos are expert in martial arts and unarmed combat.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0The NSG commandos are allowed to use sophisticated MP5 guns, and various gadgets for communication.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Less than 20 VIPs in the country are getting the Z+ security.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The list includes PM Narendra Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, and few others.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Z CATEGORY SECURITY<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Z is the second level of security.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Z category offers a security cover of 22 personnel, including 4 to 5 NSG Commandos &amp; Police officers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Security is provided by the ITBP or CRPF personnel with one escort car.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yoga Guru Ramdev and many actors including Aamir Khan are availing this category of security.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Y CATEGORY SECURITY<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is the third level of security.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Y category has a security cover of 11 personnel, including 1 or 2 Commandos &amp; Police officer.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It also offers two Personal Security Officers (PSOs).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are many people who get coverage under this category.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>X CATEGORY SECURITY<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is the last level of security.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">X category has a security cover of 2 police personnel, and there will not be any Commando.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is provided by one PSO (personal security officer).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of course, a considerable number of people get this X category of protection in India.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=me.entri.entrime&amp;referrer=utm_source%3DBlog%26utm_medium%3Dgeneralknowledge%26utm_term%3DTEXT%26utm_campaign%3Ddivya\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Get Higher Rank in Competitive Exams!
