The central bank of India invites applications from Indian Citizens, who are Ex-Servicemen and fulfil the eligibility criteria regarding age, qualification, reservation etc. towards the post of Security Guard (Temporary) in class IV cadre in Reserve Bank of India (RBI<\/a><\/strong>). The candidates should have experience of handling arms and ammunition in the military. If we check the previous year trends of RBI Security Guard Vacancy and selection, there are various occasions in which certain RBI offices or zones hired the candidates from their area, and in some certain cases, the recruitment was based on All India written tests.<\/p>\n

The latest recruitment cycles of 2018, and 2019 was an All India based recruitments where RBI selected candidates towards its offices across India. The exact numbers of RBI<\/a> Security Guard vacant positions are yet to know since the official notification is not available. Based on the previous year trends, we can assume around 250 vacant positions in this Cadre-IV post in Reserve Bank of India.<\/p>\n

RBI Security Guard Vacancy 2020<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ex-servicemen who have passed the 10th Standard (S.S.L.C.\/ Matriculation) from any recognized State Education Board or its equivalent, and below 25 years are eligible towards this position. Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualification are not eligible for Security Guard positions, and their applications will get rejected.\u00a0 Although matriculate ex-servicemen with 15 years of Defence service are considered as \u2018Graduates\u2019, they are also eligible to apply. While you are submitting the RBI Security Guard application, you should select one RBI office and you will be considered for that particular one only. The candidate should be a resident of the State\/ UT coming under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruitment Office to which he is applying.<\/p>\n

When you are entering the service as Security Guards your starting basic pay off will be Rs. 10940\/- per month in the scale of 10940-380 (4) and other allowances. Like any other RBI employee, you will also be entitled with allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance, Personal Fixed Allowance, Shift Allowance, Special Functional Allowance, Special Allowance (I), Grade Allowance, Washing Allowance, etc making a heavy paycheck for you. Selected candidates would be required to guard Bank\u2019s property (residential\/ offices) and attend to other watch and ward duties at the Office\/ Bank\u2019s residential quarters. Candidates are expected to work in shifts as they are directed. Women\/ Physically handicapped \/ Disabled ex-servicemen are not eligible for this position.<\/p>\n

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has yet to declare the RBI Security Guard 2020 notification, so the exact numbers are yet to known.
