\nPowered India to an unexpected Women’s 4X400 relay final at the 1984 Games with P.T.Usha. Became the first Indian woman to reach the semi-finals of an Olympic event: Los Angeles (1984). Captain of the Indian Contingent at the 1992 Games. Represented India in three Asian Games and won one gold, two silvers and one bronze medal.
