Sreenarayana guru was born at Chempazanthy in Trivandrum. in 1888 he conducted famous Aruvipuram consecration. SNDP was founded in 1903.He became the first president and Kumaran Asan was the secretary. He is known as the father of Kerala Renaissance. Dr.palapu was responsible for the connection between Guru and Swami Vivekananda. Tagore visited Guru in 1922 and Gandhiji visited in 1925. Guru died on 20 September 1928 at Shivagiri. He gave a message for ” one caste, one religion, one god for man”.
