Q. The executive head of Indian Government ?

A
President
B
Prime Minister
C
Speaker
D
Opposition leader
Solution:
  • While writing down the Constitution of India, B.R. Ambedkar specified the role of Prime Minister of India to be executory which can be in other words compared to the position of President of the United States of America. Therefore it is well agreed that in India, the President is the suggestive head while the Prime minister is the executive head of the government.
  • The Prime minister is the head advisor of the president of India and the chief of the Union Council of Ministers. He can be a member of either the Lok Sabha(House of People) or the Rajya Sabha(Council of states) but compulsorily has to be a member of a political party that has a majority in the Lok Sabha.
  • The Prime minister or the head of the minister is the most senior member of state officials in the parliament
