The yield of well is the rate at which water percolates into the well under the safe maximum working head or critical depression head.
For a standard tube well the depth is 30 -60 m and the yield is 40-45L/s. (Can be upto 50L/s).
For a shallow tube well, the depth is less than 30 m the yield is 20L/s.
For a deep tube well the yield is 200 L/s.
