Mamankam was the festival celebrated on the banks of the river Bharthapuzha every 12 years at Thirunavayya, Malappuram district in Kerala State.
At first, it was conducted under the leadership of valluvakonathiri and later it was under the patronage of Zamorin.
The man who was involved directly in Mamankam is a group of fighters known as " Chaverpadda".
