Vedbandhu Sharma, also known as Venkatachala Iyer, was a prominent scholar of Sanskrit in Kerala and a prominent activist of the Arya Samaj.
After earning his MA in Sanskrit, he worked for the Arya Samaj Gurukul in Lahore and various other northern cities. He read and traveled a lot and was fluent in many languages.
His major works are: Rigveda Praveshika, Sandha and Agnihotra, Arthavignanam, Rasabharati and Bharatiya Kavya Shastra.
