Solution:

• In August 2015, the Government of Kerala signed a 40-year concession agreement with Adani Vizhinjam Port Private Limited for the development works of Vizhinjam International Port.
• For the implementation of the agreement, the Government of Kerala has formed a special purpose vehicle named Vizhinjam International Seaport Limited (VISL), which is 100% government owned.
• Jaipur and Guwahati airports were also handed over to Adani Group.
• Foundation stone laying of Vizhinjam port was held on 5th December 2015.
