B

C
Upliftment of Harijans
D

Solution:
  • Gandhiji’s fourth visit of Kerala was during January 10-22, 1934. Kasturba Gandhi also followed Gandhiji in this journey.
  • The visit was to raise Harijan funds which aimed for the Upliftment of Harijans.
  • After his speech, a sixteen-year-old girl named Kaumudi rushed to the stage and took off all her jewelery. There, Kaumudi vowed never to wear gold jewelery again. Pleased with this, Gandhiji wrote an article in his Harijan newspaper entitled ‘Kaumudi Ka Tyagh’.
