About KTET Exam

The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) is an eligibility test conducted by the government of Kerala. The test is conducted twice a year at various centers within Kerala. The KTET exam is the recruitment exam to recruit the most eligible and able teachers in the primary and upper primary government schools in Kerala. The minimum educational qualification required to appear for the KTET exam is a degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks obtained from any recognised universities in Kerala. Along with the degree, the candidates should also have completed a B.Ed in the concerned subject. The candidates who wish to appear for the KTET exam should attend the 4 categories of the exam. The exam will be conducted for 150 marks with no negative marking. The exam is objective. There is no age limit to appear for the KTET exam.
