About Staff Selection Commission(SSC) Exam

SSC Exam is a national-level test conducted annually by the Government of India to recruit candidates for Central Government job posts. The exam provides an opportunity for graduates and postgraduates to gain government jobs in various departments such as Railways, Banks, Central Government, Subordinate Services, Armed Forces, and more. The exam consists of four stages: Tier-I, Tier II, Tier III & Tier IV. The first two stages are computer-based (OMR), while Tier III is a pen-and-paper exam, and the final Tier is a computer skill test, which tests the candidates’ typing speed and accuracy. The exam duration varies depending on the exam and post.

SSC Exam Pattern
The SSC Exam Pattern comprises a written examination and a personal interview, both having two tiers. The Preliminary Examination is divided into four sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness. The Main Examination is objective and has five sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge.
