Specialist Officer positions include IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, Marketing Officer, and more.

3.1 IBPS SO Exam Pattern

The IBPS SO exam pattern will be a 3-tier exam comprising Prelims, Main exam, and Interview round from this year. The preliminary exam will be an objective online test. The exam will be held on 2 consecutive days. The key features of the IBPS SO 2022 Exam Pattern are given below:

IBPS SO 2022 Prelim exam will have 150 objective-type questions. The test paper will be available in English and Hindi.

The paper will consist of 3 sections- English Language, Reasoning, and Quantitative/ General Awareness. The 3rd section will depend on the post the applicant has applied for.

Candidates who qualify for Prelims will be eligible to appear for the Mains exam. This exam will have a combination of descriptive and objective type questions based on the post.

Those who will clear the Mains will be called for the interview round.

The prelims exam is only of a qualifying nature while the Main and Interview will be considered for determining final merit.
