To appear for the exam, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria specified by the Commission. The eligibility for Kerala PSC LGS 2023 exam is as follows:
- Nationality: Candidates must be of Indian nationality
- Educational Qualification: Applicants who have successfully completed the 7th standard from a recognized educational board or its equivalent are eligible for the position, with the requirement that candidates should not possess a degree.
- Age Limit: The age limit is 18-36 years. (It is for unreserved category candidates. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates, following Kerala Govt rules.)

- The total score of the LGS Exam 2023 is 100 marks.
- There is 1 mark for every correct answer
- For every wrong answer, it is expected that there would be a deduction of 1/3 marks.

- For every correct answer you score 1 mark
- It is expected that there will be 0.33 mark deduction on every wrong answer
