An Overview of AAI ATC Junior Executive Exam
The AAI ATC Junior Executive Exam is highly competitive, conducted by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to recruit for the position of Junior Executive (Air Traffic Control). It assesses knowledge of aviation regulations, air navigation, communication procedures, meteorology, aircraft performance, and general aptitude. Successful candidates play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of air traffic operations at various airports across India.
The preparation requires a thorough understanding of aviation principles, regulatory frameworks, problem-solving abilities, coaching, and practice tests.
An Objective Type Online Examination, conducted through computer-based testing, will be held. Candidates will not be penalized for wrong answers.
Following the online examination, various tests including Application Verification/ Voice Test/ Psychoactive Substances Test/ Psychological Assessment Test/ Medical Test/ Background Verification will be conducted as applicable for the post or as decided by the competent authority at any stage during the recruitment process.
The post of Junior Executive has a CTC (Cost to Company) of approximately ₹13 lakhs per annum.

Basic pay: ₹40,000 - 3% - 1,40,000
In addition to the basic pay, the following emoluments are also admissible as per AAI Rules:

AAI ATC Junior Executive Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the AAI ATC (Airports Authority of India Air Traffic Control) Junior Executive Exam are as follows:
Educational Qualification
- Full Time Regular Bachelors' Degree of three years in Science (B.Sc) with Physics and Mathematics.
OR
- Full Time Regular Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in any discipline. (Physics & Mathematics should be subjects in any one of the semesters curriculum).
- The candidate shall have minimum proficiency in both spoken and written English of the level of 10+2 standard (the candidate shall have passed English as one of the subject in 10th or 12th standard)
Age Limit
- Maximum age 27 years.
Relaxation in Age
- Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST
- 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
Nationality
- Candidates must be citizens of India.
