The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications from candidates across the country for recruitment to various Constable posts in BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, Rifleman, etc. through SSC GD (SSC GD Constable).

The recruitment process consists of four stages: Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
SSC GD selection process 2024 has four stages as per Staff Selection Commission. The first course is the computer based test or SSC GD CBT test, which tests the knowledge of the candidates on the topics related to SSC GD 2024. CBT is followed by two sessions of physical examination ie. Physical Fitness and Physical Standards. The final stage is the medical examination, which is conducted to check the overall health and fitness of the candidate for the post of SSC GD Constable.

Candidates who pass the first three stages of the SSC GD Selection Process 2024 will proceed to the final stage, which is the Advanced Medical Examination (DME) Advanced Medical Examination (DME). , is conducted by a medical board formed by CAPF members.
