About Eklavya PGT/TGT Exam
The Eklavya PGT/TGT Exam is a prestigious assessment conducted for individuals aspiring to become Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) at Eklavya Model Schools. Are You Eligible?
PGT
- Two-year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education by NCERT in the relevant subject, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
- Alternatively, a Master's Degree from a recognized university in the required subject with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University (except for PGT IT).
- Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English mediums.
- Age Limit - Upto 40 years.
TGT
- Four-year integrated degree course from Regional College of Education by NCERT in the relevant subject, with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Or Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subject/subject combination.
- B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
- Successful completion of State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II.
- Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English mediums.
- Age Limit - Upto 35 years.
