KPSC Staff Nurse Grade 2 Exam Eligibility
This post is open for direct recruitment, and only candidates with the required qualifications and age limits are eligible to apply. The requirements are as follows:
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 20 and 36 years of age, born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). Age relaxation will be provided for SC/ST and other backward communities, as per the general conditions in the Gazette Notification.
Educational Qualifications
- A pass in Plus Two/Pre-degree with science subjects, or VHSE (with science subjects), or VHSE in Domestic Nursing from a recognized institution.
- A pass in BSc. Nursing or General Nursing and Midwifery (3 years duration) from an accredited institution.
- Certificate of Registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council as Nurse and Midwife (for women candidates) or as Nurse (for male candidates).
Probation
The selected candidate will be on probation as per the rules defined by the Kerala PSC.
Promotion Test
Candidates may be required to undergo a promotion test, subject to the department's policies.
Note
In addition to the prescribed qualifications, equivalent qualifications recognized by government orders or the Kerala PSC will also be accepted. Candidates must provide government orders declaring the equivalence if required.
