Kerala Bank Recruitment Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the Kerala Bank Exam that may need to be fulfilled include:
Age Limit

Candidates who apply for the Kerala bank exam positions must be between the ages of 18 and 40. Applying for a Kerala bank role requires the applicant to be at least eighteen years old. As of right now, there is no information available on the relaxations granted to applicants who fall under reserved categories.

Probation Period

Every person appointed to any of the categories in the service of Kerala Bank.(by direct recruitment and by promotion) shall, from the date on which he/she joins duty be on probation for continuous period one year on duty within a continuous period of two years. However the appointing authority may extend the period of probation for another two years to enable the appointing authority to decide whether the probationer is suitable for regularization or not.

Promotion Test

Kerala Bank will conduct Department promotion test with the support of outside professional agencies such as Indian Institute of Banking and Finance to assess the suitability of the employees to get promotion for the higher post.

Education

Degree in Commerce or Masters Degree in Arts of a recognized University with Co-operation as a special subject.

OR

Any Bachelors Degree of recognized University and Higher Diploma in Co-operation (HDC)/ Junior Diploma in Co-operation (JDC)

OR

Bsc (Co-operation and Banking) Degree of Kerala Agricultural University.

OR

Graduation from a UGC recognized University with not less than 60% of marks in the aggregate and MBA (Finance/ Banking)/ACA/ ACMA/ACS/ B.Sc.(Cooperation & Banking of Kerala Agricultural University) will be a preferential qualification

Kerala Bank Exam Pattern

The exam pattern plays a vital role in cracking the exam. Those candidates who wish to crack the exam should refer to the exam pattern given below. For the post of Assistant Secretary, Junior Clerk/ Cashier, System Administrator, Data Entry Operator, the exam will be conducted as OMR. The exam will be conducted for 80 marks for a total of 160 questions. Each question carries 0.5 mark and there is no negative marking.

FAQ’s regarding the kerala bank exams and preparation

Some exams are directly conducted by Kerala banks, and PSC conducts exams directly for 15 posts

The application process involves visiting the official website of Kerala PSC, filling out the online application form, and submitting the required documents. Detailed instructions will be provided in the official notification for specific post.

Age Limit – Minimum age is 18 years. The maximum age is 40 years except for those posts for which age limit is specifically mentioned. There will be usual relaxation for SC/ST and other backward communities. In no case, the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 years for direct recruitment.
