Overview of IBPS RRB Exam

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) annually conducts the RRB exam to find the most eligible candidates for the post of Officer (Scale I, Scale II, and Scale III) and Office Assistants in the 43 participating banks. The IBPS RRB exam is a nation-level exam targeting the apt candidates for the banking sector. Candidates who wish to crack the IBPS RRB exam should acknowledge the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). Age Limit

The candidates who wish to apply for the post of IBPS RRB exam should satisfy the eligibility criteria given below:

Office Assistant -Between 18 years and 28 years; candidates should note the inclusive dates of not been born earlier than 02.06.1996 and later than 01.06.2006
Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)- Between 18 years and 30 years; candidates should note the inclusive dates of not having been born before 03.06.1994 and after later than 30.06.2006
Officer Scale-II (Manager)-Candidates should be of the age of 21 years and below 32 years and the aspirants should not have been born before 03.06.1992 and after 31.05.2003
Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)-Between the age of 21 years and 40 years; candidates should note the inclusive dates of not having been born earlier than 03.06.1984 and later than 31.05.2006

The aspirants should also note the category-wise age relaxation exclusively given to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST, OBC, PWD, Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen category.
