About SEBI Grade A Exam

Securities and Exchange Board of India issues the official notification for the post of SEBI Grade A Recruitment. SEBI recruits the most efficient and skilled candidates for the post of SEBI Grade A Assistant Manager post. The post will guarantee you financial stability and career growth within a short period. The recruitment will be based on the prelims, and mains followed by the interview. The upper age limit of the candidates who wish to apply for the post is 30 years.

The exam will be conducted online. The major responsibilities of the SEBI Grade A AM include reviewing the book of reports of monetary mediators, approving the by–laws of securities deals, ensuring the enrollment of agents and brokers, examining the account reports and contacting for journal recoveries from identified safety trades and eliminating the malpractices in the security range.

Selection Procedure for SEBI Grade A

The selection of the SEBI Grade A officer will be done based on the three recruitment processes which include:

  • Phase I-Prelims
  • Phase II-Mains
  • Phase III-Interview

Those candidates who wish to attend the mains should clear the prelims with cut-off marks. The candidates who clear the mains will only be selected to attend the interview. The prelims exam will be online in nature. The candidates will get 100 minutes to complete the MCQ exam for 200 marks. The mains will be conducted for 200 marks descriptive along with the MCQ-based questions. The interview panel consists of 5 professionals who will check your personality, skills and knowledge.

Eligibility Criteria for SEBI Grade A Exam

Those candidates who wish to apply for SEBI Grade A Recruitment should satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The eligibility criteria include the age limit, experience, and educational qualification. Make sure you are submitting the documents to prove your eligibility.

Age limit
As per the notification issued by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the upper age limit of the candidates who wish to apply for the SEBI Grade A officer post is 30 years, the candidate must have been born on or after April 01, 1994. The age relaxation applies to the candidates belonging to the reservation category.
Educational Qualification

The candidates who wish to apply for the SEBI Grade B officer recruitment should satisfy the prescribed educational qualification. The candidates can refer below to the prescribed educational qualification for the Grade B officer post.

  • Post Graduate Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum score of 50%
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% of marks
  • Completed Chartered Accountant/ Chartered Financial Analyst/Company Secretary/ Cost Accountant from a recognised institute
