About BPSC Exam
BPSC came into existence from 1st April 1949 (sub-section (1) of section 261 of the Government of India Act, 1935). It is a Constitutional Body under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. BPSC helps in recruiting candidates to various posts under government services. It recruits candidates under two methods- Direct recruitment and Promotion. BPSC Exam Calendar 2020 – 21 Latest Updated
Aspirants can start their preparations for the forthcoming exams. The recruitment is completely based upon the candidates’ performance in the competitive tests and physical tests, conducted by the BPSC. The recruitments are mainly for Group B and C posts under the pay scale of Level 7/9/11.
The BPSC exam calendar will be published every year at the start of the financial year. The commission will be taking the final decision on the exam dates, and the changes in exam dates are also under the control of BPSC.

BPSC Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are supposed to be updated with the eligibility criteria from the notification, as it will vary accordingly with each post.
Age Limit
Minimum- 22 years
Maximum- 37 years for General Category(males) and 40 years General Category(Females).
Relaxation for OBC, SC/ST will be given according to the government norms.
Educational Qualification
Graduation or equivalent from a recognized University.

Minimum Height
- General Category (Male) – 5 feet 5 inches
- Women candidates – 5 feet 2 inches
- SC/ST – 5 feet 3 inches
